Dr. Debra Ravasia Urogynecologist and experienced laparoscopic surgeon Dr. Debra Ravasia is interested in medical writing and clinical locums. Dr. Debra Ravasia provides a full range of obstetric and gynecologic services, including issues concerning the bladder and the pelvic floor. Clinically, Dr. Debra Ravasia respects the personal health decisions of every patient, customizing treatments for each individual situation. In addition, Dr. Debra Ravasia has experience in obstetrics, gynecology, urogynecology and pelvic floor medicine, as well as metabolic and obesity medicine.

Dr. Debra Ravasia completed her undergraduate medical training at the College of Medicine in the University of Saskatchewan in 1994, then completed her residency at the Foothills Hospital, University of Calgary, where she developed a special interest and completed further training in urogynecology. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada, and is also board certified with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is subspecialty board certified with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology as a Fellow of Pelvic Floor Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. She began her private practice in 2000 as an obstetrician/gynecologist in North Dakota, where she was also Clinical Associate Professor with the University of North Dakota Faculty of Medicine and involved in teaching medical students and residents. In 2005, she moved with her family to Spokane, WA. On arriving in Spokane, she founded a practice consisting of primary care for women, obstetric and gynecologic care, and urogynecology. She set up an ambulatory surgical facility as part of this practice, and has the pleasure of working with several brilliant and dedicated physicians, nurse practitioners and ancillary staff in that practice.

When she is not practicing medicine, and doing medical writing, Dr. Debra Ravasia enjoys skiing, hiking, and spending time with her husband and their four children. Dr. Debra Ravasia is also deeply involved with her local community and supports a number of charities, such as Amnesty International, Friends of KSPX, the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and Head Start.

She has recently returned from two month trip working Doctors without Borders at a maternity project in Afghanistan.
